WCL 2025: Top 3 player battles to watch out for in AUS vs PAK

Australia Champions and Pakistan Champions will clash in the 14th game of the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL 2025) in Leicester on July 29.

The Pakistan Champions are in second place in the WCL 2025 points standings after winning all three of their games. They need to win one more of their remaining games to guarantee their spot in the WCL semifinals.

The Australian champions, on the other hand, have participated in three games and won two of them, with one game being rained out. Having defeated the Indian champions by four wickets in their last game, Australia will now play Pakistan, who have won all three of their previous games.

1. Kamran Akmal vs Peter Siddle

Kamran Akmal has been the best batter for Pakistan. He scored a brilliant 113 against the West Indies Champions in his team’s comfortable victory. He has 138 runs in three innings with a strike rate of 162.35 and poses a huge threat to Australia.

On the other hand, Peter Siddle has been exceptional for the Australian champions. Despite his age, he still manages to swing the ball and has four wickets to his name with a best of 3/28 and an economy of 6.27. He can keep Akmal quiet as the batter is fidgety at the start of his innings.

2. Chris Lynn vs Sohail Tanvir

Chris Lynn will be the most dangerous batter for Pakistan to deal with. Lynn has hammered 11 sixes and seven fours in two innings. He has made 106 runs with a best of 81 and a strike rate of 286.43. He can destroy not only the opposition but also the morale of the bowlers.

3. Ben Dunk vs Rumman Raees
