WCL 2025: Predicting Pakistan XI for match 9

Pakistan Champions will face South Africa Champions in the 9th match of the World Championship of Legends 2025 on Friday, July 25, at the Grace Road in Leicester. Pakistan have won one out of two games and are in third position. In the first game against the England Champions, Pakistan scored 160 runs for the loss of nine wickets. In reply, England scored 155 runs for the loss of three wickets and lost the match by five runs.

Top Order:

Kamran Akmal

Kamran Akmal, Sharjeel Khan, and Umar Amin are likely to be part of Pakistan’s top-order. The trio did not have a great outing in the first game against England. They will be looking to provide a fiery start to the team.

Middle Order:

Mohammad Hafeez

Mohammad Hafeez captained the side in the first game against England. He scored 54 runs off 34 deliveries and was the highest scorer. Shoaib Malik was one of the best performers for Pakistan last season and was the leading run-scorer. Asif Ali made 15 runs off 13 deliveries in the first match.

Lower Middle Order:

Shoaib Maqsood

Shoaib Maqsood came as an impact player in the first game but did not have a successful outing. Aamaer Yamin and Sohail Tanvir are likely to be the two all-rounders in the team. Yamin scored 27 runs off 13 deliveries and took one wicket as well against England. Tanvir made 17 runs and took one wicket as well in the first game of the season.

Bowlers:

Sohail Khan, Rumman Raees, and Wahab Riaz are likely to be the three bowlers in the playing 11 for Pakistan. Raees opened the bowling for Pakistan in the first game and took one wicket for 14 runs in four overs. Wahab bowled three overs in the first game and gave away 27 runs.
