WCL 2025: Predicting Pakistan XI for match 14

The Pakistan Champions will take on the Australia Champions in the 14th match of the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL 2025) in Leicester on July 29.

Pakistan Champions have played three games and have won all so far to be seated at the second spot in the WCL 2025 points table. Out of their remaining matches, Pakistan needed one more win to cement their place in the WCL semi-finals.

Top Order:  

Kamran Akmal was the star for Pakistan in their win over the West Indies, as he scored 113 runs. He has 138 runs in three innings with a strike rate of 162.35. Sharjeel Khan provides that left-hander comfort at the top and has scored 52 runs in two games he has played with a strike rate of 130. Sohaib Maqsood has played two games and is yet to showcase his full hitting ability, but Pakistan is expected to keep their faith in him.

Middle Order:  

Captain Mohammad Hafeez has scored a fifty in his 85 runs that have come at a strike rate of 144.06. Asif Ali, the big six-hitter, has kept his reputation with a strike rate of 141 in the 48 runs he has scored. Shoaib Malik, the veteran, has 57 runs in three games with a best of 46* and a strike rate of 132.55.

Lower Order:  

Imad Wasim and Aamer Yamin are the likely all-rounders in the Pakistan team, also providing them with batting support. Wasim has one wicket in two games he has played, while Yamin made 38 runs in two innings and has three wickets.

Bowlers:  

Wahab Riaz, Sohail Tanvir, and Rumman Raees are the likely pacers in the Pakistan Champions lineup. Rumman Raees has five wickets in three games with a best of 3/4 and an economy of 3.88. Wahab Riaz, the most experienced pacer, has one wicket to his name but remains the backbone of their attack. Sohail Tanvir has five wickets as well at an economy of 7.80 and a best bowling of 2/13.
