Shivam Mavi might get a chance in the upcoming Ireland series. The former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer has been in and out of national and franchise cricket due to several injuries.

The young bowler will look to earn a spot in the T20I squad for the Ireland series with his impressive performances in the Deodhar Trophy. The Indian Cricket Board will once again have the opportunity to test out some young players during a series against Ireland. The team for the series has not yet been revealed. After Rinku Singh faced a selection snub for West Indies T20Is, that created ire among the fans.

He has made a name for himself as he puts his name forward for the Indian team.  The left-handed batter has demonstrated that he can manage the pressure in tight situations in addition to his hitting prowess. In addition, Rinku is a strong fielder who will undoubtedly aid his team in saving runs in the outfield.
