Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Delhi Capitals by six wickets to go top of the IPL 2025 table on Sunday. Krunal Pandya and Virat Kohli scored fifties in what was an easy chase for RCB to record their sixth away win of the season. Chasing 163 to win, at one stage, RCB were reduced to 26 runs for the loss of three early wickets at the end of four overs.
Pandya and Kohli added 119 runs for the fourth wicket to engineer a great run chase. DC bowlers, especially their spinners, were ineffective, barring Axar Patel, who picked up two wickets. Vipraj Nigam bowled just one over while Kuldeep Yadav went wicketless and failed to put pressure on the RCB batters.
Here are some of the records created in the DC vs RCB IPL 2025 game
3. Virat Kohli goes past 100 fours vs DC

Former India and RCB skipper Virat Kohli began the day with 97 boundaries to his name against Delhi Capitals. With his third boundary of the day, Kohli went past the 100 mark and ended with four boundaries to his name in his knock of 51, which came off 47 balls. Kohli reached the mark in the fifth ball of the 10th over off Kuldeep Yadav when he hit the left-arm spinner for a four to the square leg region.
2. Mitchell Starc and Jitesh Sharma played their 50th IPL game

The game on Sunday saw Australian seamer Mitchell Starc and RCB wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma play their 50th game in the IPL. Starc incidentally began his career with RCB in 2014 and 2015 before taking a long hiatus from the league. Starc then came back to play for KKR and won the title with them last season before joining DC for 11.25 Crores. Jitesh Sharma began his IPL career with Mumbai Indians and was part of the squad that won the title in 2017 before making his return with Punjab Kings.
1. Krunal Pandya’s long wait for an IPL fifty ends

Krunal Pandya created a massive record when he became the batter with the longest gap between IPL fifties. His first fifty came in his debut season for Mumbai, where he scored 86 runs in the 2016 season. That fifty incidentally came against Delhi Capitals at Vizag. It has been 3269 days since Pandya scored a fifty, and it has yet again come against Delhi Capitals.
