3. 131 vs West Indies, Kingston, 2009

This was the first ODI of the four-match series between India and the West Indies played in Kingston on June 26, 2009. MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first. Dinesh Karthik scored 67, but Gautam Gambhir (13) and Rohit Sharma (3) failed to score much. But then Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni saved the day for India.

First Yuvraj added 135 runs with Dinesh Karthik and then added 86 runs with MS Dhoni, who made 41. Yuvraj Singh made 131 runs with 10 fours and seven sixes in 102 balls, taking India to 339/6. 2. 139 vs Australia, Sydney, 2004

Yuvraj Singh’s performance in this game put him on the map in international cricket. This was the 7th match of the 2004 VB Series between India and Australia in Sydney. India opted to bat first and posted 296/4 in 50 overs as VVS Laxman made 106* in 130 balls, but it was Yuvraj who propelled the Indian innings with a scintillating 139* in 122 balls with 16 fours and two sixes.

1. 150 vs England, Cuttack, 2017

Yuvraj Singh kept his will to continue in the aftermath of his battle with cancer and age, and this match saw him hit his highest ODI score ever. This was the second ODI between India and England in Cuttack and saw India batting first after losing the toss. India were in trouble at 25/3, with KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Shikhar Dhawan back in the hut.

But then Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni added 256 runs for the fourth wicket. MS Dhoni made 134 runs in 122 balls with 10 fours and six sixes, but the focus was on Yuvraj Singh, who slammed his career-best 150 in 127 balls with 21 fours and three sixes, leading India to 381/6. England fought well, with Jason Roy (82), Joe Root (54), and Moeen Ali (55) getting half-centuries and Eoin Morgan slamming 102 runs. However, they only made 366/8 as India won by 15 runs.
