Younis Khan made his ODI debut on February 13, 2000, against Sri Lanka. He played his last ODI against England on November 11, 2015. He featured in 265 ODI matches for Pakistan and has scored 7249 runs at an average of 31.24 and a strike rate of 75.29. He hit seven centuries and 48 half-centuries in ODIs.

1. 144 vs Hong Kong – Karachi, 2004

Younis made the highest individual score for Pakistan in the Asia Cup in 2004 at that time. He scored 144 runs off 122 deliveries against Hong Kong and helped the team post a total of 343 runs for the loss of five wickets. Hong Kong got bundled out for 165 runs and lost the match by 173 runs.

2. 123* vs India – Karachi, 2008

In the 10th match of the Asia Cup 2008, India scored 308 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Younis remained unbeaten on 123 runs off 117 deliveries and helped Pakistan chase down the target of 309 runs in 45.3 overs with eight wickets in hand. Younis won the Player of the Match award. It was one of the three centuries that Younis made against India in ODIs.

3. 117 vs India – Kandy, 2007

In 2007, Pakistan travelled to India to play a five-match ODI series. India won the first match by five wickets. The second ODI was played at Mohali, and India won the toss and elected to bat. India made 321 runs for the loss of nine wickets but Younis made 117 runs off 110 deliveries and helped Pakistan chase down the target of 322 runs on the penultimate delivery. Pakistan won the match by four wickets as Younis won the Player of the Match award.
