Top 3 performances of Wriddhiman Saha in international cricket

Former India keeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha is celebrating his 41st birthday, as he was born on this day, October 24, in 1984. Saha is still considered to be the best Indian wicket-keeper when it comes to technique, for both spinners and pacers.

Saha’s India Test debut came in 2010 against South Africa as a pure batter, but he cemented his place in 2014, after the retirement of MS Dhoni from the format. He enjoyed a free rein as first-choice keeper until the rise of Rishabh Pant in 2018 and played his last Test for India in 2021.

Wriddhiman Saha played 40 Tests for India, scoring 1353 runs at an average of 29.41, including three centuries and six fifties, with the highest score being 117. He also played nine ODIs, scoring 41 runs.
