Rishabh Pant has been one of the best batters in the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament. Pant made his IPL debut in 2016, right after appearing for the Indian U19 World Cup, where he played under Ishan Kishan and shone in the tournament. Since then, Rishabh Pant has missed only one IPL season, in 2023, due to his near-fatal car accident.

Leading the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the tournament, Rishabh Pant had a horrible time with the bat in the tournament. This was the final league match for LSG IN ipl 2025, in which they faced off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who were looking for a top-two finish.

LSG batted first after losing the toss, and Mitchell Marsh made 67 in 37 balls to give a quick start. Pant took over and hammered 118* in 61 balls, hitting 11 fours and eight sixes. The dominating knock from the LSG captain took his team to 227/3 in 20 overs. Unfortunately, RCB managed to overhaul the target, with Virat Kohli making 54 and Jitesh Sharma playing a knock of a lifetime, scoring 85* in 33 balls with eight fours and six sixes to take RCB to the win by six wickets.

IPL 2017 was Rishabh Pant’s second season, and he played one of the best knocks, showcasing his potential to everyone. Delhi Capitals faced off against Gujarat Lions in Delhi, and the Suresh Raina-led side batted first. They made 208/7 thanks to 77 from Raina and 65 from Dinesh Karthik.

Sanju Samson gave Delhi a good start with 61 in 31 balls, but the match was brought to a close in Delhi’s favor by Pant. Batting at no. 3, Pant smashed 97 in 43 balls, hammering six fours and nine sixes in his knock. He missed his century by three runs, getting dismissed by Basil Thampi. Delhi won the game by seven wickets, and Pant won the Player of the Match.

This match was a one-man show from Pant in IPL 2018 when Delhi faced off against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Delhi. The home team batted first and struggled against the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Shakib Al Hasan, and Rashid Khan. However, Pant stood out, as he hammered his maiden IPL century.

Pant made 128* in just 63 balls, hitting 15 fours and seven huge sixes as the crowd stood in awe of his raw hitting power and innovative shots. However, this epic knock by Pant went in vain as SRH won by nine wickets, thanks to 92* by Shikhar Dhawan and 83* by Kane Williamson.
