Jasprit Bumrah starred for India against Zimbabwe in 2016 in Harare. This was the third ODI between the two sides and saw Zimbabwe being bowled out for 123 after electing to bat first. Bumrah, bowling first change, picked 4/22. His wickets included Timycen Maruma, Elton Chigumbura, Richmond Mutumbami, and Tawanda Mupariwa. KL Rahul made 63*, and Faiz Fazal made 55* in his only ODI for India, as India won by 10 wickets.

5/27 vs. Sri Lanka, Pallekele, 2017

India and Sri Lanka clashed in the third ODI in Pallekele on August 27, 2017. Sri Lanka elected to bat first after winning the toss and posted 217/9, with Lahiru Thirimanne making 80 and Dinesh Chandimal making 36. For India, Bumrah took 5/27, his first ODI five-wicket haul.

His wickets included Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Mendis, Lahiru Thirimanne, Milinda Siriwardena, and Akila Dhananjaya. India achieved the target easily, thanks to 124* by Rohit Sharma and 67* by MS Dhoni, and winning by six wickets. Bumrah won the Player of the Match for his 5/27.

6/19 vs England, The Oval, 2022

India and England clashed in the first ODI on July 22, 2022. India bowled first after winning the toss and Jasprit Bumrah swung the ball like a man possessed to reduce England to 59/7 at one stage. He took the wickets of Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Liam Livingstone, David Willey, and Brydon Carse to finish with a career-best 6/17 in 7.2 overs. England could only muster 110 runs in 25.2 overs.

India overhauled the target in 18.4 overs, with Rohit Sharma making 76* and Shikhar Dhawan making 31*, and winning the game by 10 wickets.
