The all-rounder from Pakistan was their third best batter in the T20 World Cup 2026. Shadab Khan rose to the occasion whenever there was a chance for him to do so. 

He scored 118 runs with an impressive strike rate of over 156, in six innings. He struck 11 fours and four sixes with the bat, showcasing his hitting ability with the bat. He played three decent cameos of 11-ball 23 against England, unbeaten 36 off 22 balls against Namibia, and 12-ball 30 against USA.

The left-hand batter started this campaign on the bench, then he was included in the squad as a middle-order batter, and then he was promoted as an opener in their must-win encounter. Such was the campaign for his for Pakistan. 

Still, he managed to produce some impact with the bat for his side. He only batted for two matches, scoring 109 runs at a strike rate of 187. Zaman scored a stunning 84-run knock against Sri Lanka in just 42 balls.

Farhan set several major records during the T20 World Cup 2026, most notably breaking Virat Kohli’s 2014 record for the most runs in a single edition with 383 runs. He also became the first player to score two centuries in a single T20 World Cup edition and finished as the top run-scorer of the tournament. 

He finished the tournament as the highest run-getter of the tournament and was also included in the ICC team of the tournament.
