In the 8th match of IPL 2024 Sunrisers Hyderabad were facing Mumbai Indians in Rajeev Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Both the teams were led by new captains. In reply to score only Tilak Verma scored 64 runs while other batter failed to reach 50 runs mark. The Mumbai Indians managed to score only 246 runs as 20 overs were bowled. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 31 runs.
