The T20 World Cup 2024 has ended and we have seen some great matches unfold in this season. We have seen some incredible performances in this World Cup from some great and talented players in the setup. 1. Travis Head- 255 runs at an average of 42.50

This might have not been the most memorable tournament for the Australians, but it was certainly a tournament where Travis Head did not disappoint us at all. The swashbuckling southpaw was in great form getting two fifty-plus scores in the tournament. His knock against India also almost got them close to the target, but unfortunately, he will remain the only silver lining in what was one of the most disappointing World Cups for the Aussies.

2. Rohit Sharma- 257 runs at an average of 36.71

This was really one of the best tournaments for India skipper Rohit Sharma, who not only ended up as a T20 World Cup-winning skipper but also one of the best batters in the team. Rohit might have started the tournament slow but gave some great performances in big matches. His knocks against Australia and England were some of the best displays of batting we have ever seen from the hitman as he ended up with 3 fifty-plus scores and will go into his retirement as a happy man.

3. Rahmanullah Gurbaz- 281 runs at an average of 35.12

One of the biggest surprise packages of the tournament was Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who ended up as the highest run-scorer in this T20 World Cup. This has been the best performance from the Rashid Khan-led side. One of their best performers in this edition was this phenomenal wicketkeeper batter who played some of the best knocks which came in the biggest matches.
