1. Ajinkya Rahane

Kishan opened the batting with Rahul in that game and Rohit Sharma was rested. Meanwhile, batting first, the Three Lions amassed 164/6 in the first innings. 

Kishan scored 56 off 32 balls including five fours and four sixes. This helped the team control the chase and win it by seven wickets and 2.1 overs to spare.

3. Murali Vijay

The former Test opening batter made his T20I debut in the T20 World Cup 2010. For the second T20I World Cup in a row, Virender Sehwag was missing the tournament due to injury. Meanwhile, Vijay made his debut against Afghanistan, who were playing the tournament for the first time.

Batting first, the T20 World Cup debutants could only manage 115/8 with Ashish Nehra taking three wickets in the game. In reply, the 2007 winners chased down the target easily with 5.1 overs to spare. Vijay, who was making his debut, scored 48 off 43 balls. He had a good season for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2010.
