The right-arm seamer has been known as one of the most destructive fast bowlers in the world to have ever played the game.

The star cricketer’s top bowling spell came during the first T20I against the West Indies, which took place on November 27, 2020. The star cricketer had scalped five wickets while conceding just 21 runs to thrash the visiting sides. Speaking about the game here, the Windies posted 180/7 in the given 16 overs as the rain went on to hinder the play. However, during the chase, Tim Southee led the Kiwis to chase down the total and thrashed Pollard’s side by five wickets to win the opening game.

2. 3.2-0-14-4 vs Ireland, 2022, Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast

Lockie’s second-best T20I spell came during the first T20I game against Ireland, which took place on July 18, 2022. The right-arm pacer had four scalps to his name against Irish Camp, which helped him thrash the home team. Speaking about the game here, Mitchell Santer led New Zealand to post 173/8 in the given 20 overs. However, the great seamer’s lethal bowling spell bundled the home side for just 142 runs while allowing the visiting side to win the game by 31 runs.

3. 3-0-21-3 vs Sri Lanka, 2019, Eden Park, Auckland

His third-best T20I spell came during the one-off T20I, which was played on January 11, 2019, where he picked up crucial three wickets while conceding just 21 runs to help his side win the game. Speaking about the game here, the hosts posted 179/7 in the given 20 overs of the game. However, during the chase, the Sri Lankan side could only manage to get 144 runs before being bundled out of the game and guiding the home team to win the match by 35 runs in Auckland.
