3. 11/130 vs New Zealand – Mohammad Zahid at Rawalpindi in 1996

Notably, the great Pakistani bowler Mohammed Zahid made his debut during the second Test against the Black Caps. The star bowler took 11 wickets for 130 runs in the game, making him the only Pakistani to ever take 10 or more wickets in a Test match on debut. Notably, on that day, New Zealand posted a score of 249 runs before getting all out against the home team. Later, while chasing, the Men in Green posted a massive score of 430 runs in the opening inning. Following that, the visitors again bundled out for just 160 runs, giving Pakistan a great victory during the second Test at Rawalpindi in 1996.

2. 11/234 vs England – Abrar Ahmed at Multan in 2022

Notably, on December 9, 2022, the great bowler Abrar Ahmed made his test debut against the English team. During the second Test match, the visitors posted a total of 281 runs while opting to bat first. Meanwhile, on the opening day of the second Test in Multan, Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed, a leg-spinner, claimed an astounding seven wickets to bowl England out for 281. Later, while chasing the Men in Green, they were only able to get 202 runs against tough visitors. Following that, the star bowler claimed four more wickets to restrict England to just 275 runs in the second innings. Meanwhile, his 11 wickets went in vain, as Pakistan ended up losing the match by 26 runs against England.

Pakistan star pacer Aizaz Cheema earned his debut in a Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on September 11, 2011. With 8 for 103 runs, the seamer recorded the third-best test debut outing by a Pakistani player. Notably, on that day, the home team posted a score of 417 runs after opting to bat first. Later, the Men in Green returned with a total of 466 runs. Following that, the home team couldn’t continue the momentum and got dismissed for just 141 runs in the second inning. Meanwhile, the visitors chased down the target with seven wickets in hand.
