Top 3 bowlers to look out for in Eliminator GT vs MI

The eighteenth edition of the Indian Premier League has approached its business end with only four teams left in the fray for the coveted crown. The first team to be eliminated from the final four will be decided in the eliminator, which is going to be played between Gujrat Titans and Mumbai Indians. The Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium will host this much-anticipated clash between the two giants. Gujrat Titans have been the dominant of the two sides in this season of IPL. The 2022 champions had won both league games against the five-time champions this season. Historically, Gujrat had always been the more dominant side in this rivalry, with them winning five of the seven matches played between them so far. However, when it comes to the knock-out rounds, Mumbai are the team to beat. Both teams will rely on their bowlers to get the job done.

Here is the list of three bowlers to watch out for in the IPL 2025 eliminator.

The Indian Speedster has the chance to reclaim the purple cap he carried for most of the season. The pacer has scalped 23 wickets in 14 innings this season at an economy of 8 runs an over. He will look to halt the momentum of Mumbai’s innings with his pace and variations. He will be the most important bowler for the Gujarat Titans heading into the fixture.

2. Trent Boult

The New Zealand pacer has made inroads into the season after a quiet start to the tournament. He has so far scalped 19 wickets in 14 matches while conceding runs at an economy of 8.50 runs an over. He will look to bundle the settled opening pair of Sai Sudershan and Shubhan Gill early on in the innings.

1. Jasprit Bumrah

The best bowler of the game’s every format is anticipated to be Mumbai’s most lethal arsenal heading into the eliminator. Despite missing the first four matches, the veteran has picked up 17 wickets in 10 matches at an economy of just 6 runs an over. He is going to be the go-to wicket-taking machine at any stage of the game for the Mumbai Indians.
