In what was his maiden IPL hundred, Yadav hit one of the best bowling attacks in the 2023 season. In the reverse game between MI and GT, the right-hander hit 103 not out off just 49 balls including 11 fours and six sixes. Apart from him, no player scored a fifty but still reached 218/5. In reply, even though the Titans lost eight wickets for 103, Rashid Khan (79*) till the end and took the team to 191/8 at the end of the game. Yadav’s innings was the difference in the end.
2. 83 against Royal Challengers Bangalore
In the 16th season only, Yadav played another cracker against RCB in a reverse fixture at home. In the game, the Red Army amassed 199/6 although they looked getting more than 220 runs at one stage. Meanwhile, in reply, Yadav played only 35 balls and scored 83 runs including seven fours and six sixes and alongside Nehal Wadhera, he ensured that the team won the game by six wickets and 3.3 overs remaining.
3. 82 against Sunrisers Hyderabad
During MI’s final league contest of the 2021 campaign. The team needed to win by 170 runs to qualify for the playoffs. Even though it was a near-impossible equation for the team, they still showed some intent. Apart from Ishan Kishan’s innings, Yadav, who was out of form during the UAE-leg, scored 82 off 40 balls including 13 fours and three sixes. Even though the team managed to win by only 42 runs, the team went out with some pride.
