Top 3 batting performances of Jemimah Rodrigues in ODIs

Jemimah Rodrigues, the talented young batter of the Indian women’s team, has played some extraordinary innings in her career. She is a magnificent batter who bats confidently and knows how to hit the bowlers in necessary situations. Moreover, she is an all-rounder who bats and bowls at the same time. She has received many accolades including the Jagmohan Dalmiya Award presented by cricketer MS Dhoni for Best Domestic Junior Women’s Cricketer by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at Jharkhand. Moreover, she has also scored a double century in a 50-over cricket match in the domestic set-up.

1. 86 runs vs Bangladesh Women

In the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh, Rodrigues scored her career-highest runs of 86 runs off 78 balls, including nine boundaries. Moreover, she also claimed four wickets and showed an all-round performance. Hence, she won the Player of the Match award for her all-round performance. India won the game by 108 runs because of Rodrigues’ performance. 

2. 82 runs vs Australia Women

In the 1st ODI against Australia in 2023, Rodrigues pulled off a brilliant half-century and scored the second-highest score in her career. She scored 82 runs off 77 balls including seven boundaries. However, India lost the match by six wickets since the Australian batters were dangerous and batted beautifully. Jemimah’s efforts went in vain, but she would have had a sense of satisfaction for scoring against Australia. 

3. 81 runs vs New Zealand Women

In the 1st ODI in 2019, India chased down a score of 193 runs against New Zealand where Jemimah scored 81 runs off 94 balls. She scored nine boundaries and played beautifully along with Smriti Mandhana who scored 105 runs off 104 balls. India won the game by nine wickets.
