It was the IPL 2023 match against RCB in Bengaluru. Batting first, KKR posted a total of 200 runs. Roy and Nitish Rana played good knocks on a surface that wasn’t easy to bat on. Jason Roy was good in the powerplay that changed the dynamics of the innings. KKR badly needed that knock.

It was the IPL 2018 match between DC and MI. Back then, Roy was with the Delhi Capitals. The match between the two sides took place in Mumbai. The home side batted first and posted a total of 194 runs on the board. In a day game, DC needed a good start to chase the total.
The star opener went bonkers at the top. As Gautam Gambhir struggled at the other end, Jason decided to anchor the innings. In the middle overs, he helped DC to be in the run chase. His finishing with Pant helped DC to beat MI by 7 wickets. Roy’s 91*(53) included 6 fours and sixes each.
