His innings were crucial in putting pressure on the English bowlers and giving New Zealand control of the match. 2. 142 vs Zimbabwe at Basin Reserve (2000)

Craig McMillan’s second incredible Test century came in December 2000, against Zimbabwe at Wellington’s Basin Reserve. Batting first, New Zealand posted an imposing 487/7 declared, thanks to McMillan’s blistering 142. His innings were marked by a controlled aggression that rattled the Zimbabwean bowlers.
