Top 3 batters to watch out for in KKR vs CSK clash 

This Friday’s IPL 2025 matchup between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take place in Chennai. This season Chennai Super Kings finds themselves in struggle as they have managed to win only one match out of five games. They have tasted defeat twice at home and two times away from home. With just two points CSK is placed ninth spot in the points table.

1. Ruturaj Gaikwad  

Ruturaj Gaikwad has established himself as a mainstay in CSK’s batting order. Now he has responsibility by taking up the captaincy in addition to his batting abilities.  He poses a threat to any bowling attack because to his superb stroke play and ability to build innings. But this season he has got struggle to score runs in the IPL. His highest is 63 runs which came against RR. However, CSK needs Ruturaj Gaikwad to get in form if they are to win matches.

2. Rachin Ravindra  

Ravindra is an important player in the batting line who brings versatility to the game. His aggressive batting approach gives the CSK squad more depth.  He is a very dynamic player who can change the game’s momentum.  He is a player that will give the team a lot of enthusiasm. This season he smashed 145 runs and his highest is 65 against Mumbai Indians.

3. Ajinkya Rahane 

Ajinkya Rahane is having best form while playing for KKR. Since appointed as captain of the KKR he has showed intent to score runs. In the first game against RCB he scored 50 runs and was the only player from the team to reach 50+ runs. In last game he scored 61 runs while chasing the target of 238 runs. Ajinkya Rahane will hope to keep the same form while facing CSK.
