The Hundred Men’s 2025: Predicting Southern Brave XI for match 15

The Hundred Men’s 2025: Predicting Southern Brave XI for match 15

The Southern Brave will play the Trent Rockets in the 15th game of The Hundred Men’s 2025 tournament at Nottingham’s Trent Bridge on August 16, 2025.

Southern Brave are second on the points table of The Hundred Men’s 2025 with two wins from three games and are above Trent Rockets because of a better net run rate. Like their opponents, the Rockets, the Brave have also seen a break in their momentum as they lost to the Northern Supercharges in their last match.

Here is the predicted Southern Brave XI for match 15 of The Hundred Men’s 2025:

Top Order: Leus du Plooy, James Vince (C), Jason Roy

Openers Leus du Plooy and James Vince have done well in giving aggressive starts to the Brace. Du Plooy has 73 runs in three games, and Vince has 53 runs in the same number of games. The experienced Jason Roy has 59 runs with a strike rate of 137.20 to support the openers.

Middle Order: James Coles, Laurie Evans (WK), Hilton Cartwright

James Coles has 53 runs with a best of 49* in three games, while Laurie Evans has smashed 66 runs with a strike rate of 153.48, giving the aggression the Southern Brave middle order needs. Hilton Cartwright has not gotten the chance to show off his wares with 10 runs in two innings he has batted thus far.

Lower Order: Michael Bracewell, Chris Jordan

Michael Bracewell is yet to show his impact with the bat with 17 runs thus far but has done well with three wickets with a best of 3/10. Chris Jordan has been struggling so far, with one wicket in three games, but his contribution in the field and his experience are invaluable.

Bowlers: Craig Overton, Tymal Mills, Jofra Archer

Craig Overton shone in the only innings he has batted in, scoring 18*. He has done well with the ball, taking four wickets at an economy of 7.90 and a best of 3/29. Tymal Mills has five wickets with his pace and variations and best bowling of 3/22. Jofra Archer has been the best bowler for Brave with four wickets at an economy of 4.65 and best bowling of 2/15.
