Zak Crawley

The Superchargers’ starting lineup has exhibited glimpses of brilliance and stability. Zak Crawley excelled with a scorching 67* against Welsh Fire, but only scored two runs in the loss against Trent Rockets. Dawid Malan followed suit, scoring 41 in the win before failing to reach double figures in the next game. Michael Pepper’s batting is reliable but he is yet to fire.

Middle Order:

Harry Brook

With a 25* To end a powerful chase against Welsh Fire and a solid 45 in the more difficult defeat to Trent Rockets, Harry Brook has been the backbone of the team.  After early top-order failures in the game against Rockets, Graham Clark came through with a crucial 36 to stabilise the innings in the previous game. Although he has not yet produced any particularly noteworthy knocks, Dan Lawrence is still a crucial middle-order link.

Lower Order:

Imad Wasim

Imad Wasim has contributed significantly with the ball, securing a stunning 3/19 in the Rockets’ loss and a vital 2/26 in the victory over Welsh Fire. His all-around presence improves the team’s balance, even though his batting is still modest. Tom Lawes contributes with useful runs and seam bowling, although his batting effect has been minimal in recent games.

Bowlers:

Adil Rashid

Adil Rashid has been a reliable wicket-taker, managing the middle overs with 2/25 in the Welsh Fire victory and 2/18 in the defeat against Rickets.  Although Mohammad Amir hasn’t had a significant impact so far, his left-arm pace offers variety to the attack.  Matthew Potts has shown promise in periods of consistency, but in more difficult circumstances, he has struggled to make breakthroughs and has leaked runs.
