169 vs Pakistan, 2007

Yuvraj Singh in his limited test career delivered some memorable performances against arch-rivals Pakistan. This is his best knock in test cricket which he played against Pakistan at Bengaluru in the 3rd match of the test series between the two teams. He was crucial in building a massive partnership with Sourav Ganguly to help India score 626 runs in the first innings. This first innings performance gave India a huge edge in the match. The match ended in a draw but Yuvraj Singh’s performance made it worth watching for the fans. 

122 vs Karachi, 2006

Another fantastic batting display from Yuvraj Singh against Pakistan, but this time in away conditions at Karachi. India was chasing a massive target of 607 runs in the second innings against a strong Pakistan bowling unit but their start was depressing. India lost wickets in the initial overs and lost track in the run chase. Yuvraj Singh was the only Indian batter who stood strong in adverse times and kept India in the contest. His century was the only saving grace for India in a match where they got a heavy drubbing.

Yuvraj Singh scored this century against Pakistan at Lahore in the 2004 test series which India won. In the first innings of the second test of the series, India scored 287 runs and Yuvraj Singh was an instrumental figure in leading India to that total. There were not many impressive performances from other batters but Yuvraj Singh took it on his own to take India to a respectable total.
