While chasing, Sunil Narine stamped his authority as an opener, as he scored the fastest fifty of the 2017 edition of IPL. He scored 54 runs off 17 balls which helped KKR get an easy win.

Sunil Narine yet again proved his worth as an all-rounder for Kolkata Knight Riders in an important clash against Delhi Capitals in 2024. Batting first on a batters paradise, Sunil Narine stormed past his half-century mark in the powerplay. He scored 85 runs off just 39 balls helping KKR to post a mammoth total of 272 runs. With the ball in hand, Narine picked up one wicket while conceding just 29 runs in his four overs.

The left-handed maestro put on an incredible performance against Rajasthan Royals in the 31st match of IPL 2024. Playing at the Mecca of Indian Cricket – Eden Gardens, Sunil Narine scored a quickfire century. He scored 109 runs in just 56 deliveries. He hit 13 boundaries and 6 sixes in the process. With the ball in hand, he picked up two important wickets. However, he was unable to steer his team to victory as RR won the match.
