Because of some heated exchanges on the field, the contest between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore has become one of the most anticipated fixtures in the league. This match spiced up this fixture as the match went right down to the wire. Batting first at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore ended up with 212 runs giving a challenging target for LSG to chase. But Lucknow’s batting unit replied in the same way and completed the run chase. In the end, it was the bowlers who carried the team across the finishing line. The chasing side won the match on the very last ball by just one wicket to spare.
