Kumar Sangakkara

Former legendary Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara took over the captaincy from Yuvraj Singh in the 2010 edition to lead the Punjab Kings. He led the team in the entire 2010 season. Sangakkara is also known for his amazing leadership abilities and batting legacy.

Sangakkara led Punjab Kings in 13 games, with three wins and nine defeats, having a winning percentage of 26.92. After a lot of years, he is the second most successful captain of PBKS in all-time history.

Adam Gilchrist

Former legendary Australia wicketkeeper-batter Adam Gilchrist led the team in three editions in 2011, 2012, and 2013, respectively. He led the side in 34 games, winning and losing 17 games each, with a winning percentage of 50 percent.

He also played vital knocks even during his captaincy tenure while playing for PBKS. Gilchrist still ranks third in the list of all-time top 3 captains for PBKS. He can also be picked in this list of all-time top captains.
