The English all-rounder was a steal deal for Mumbai at 5.25 crores. Will Jacks has proved why he is worth a good price with his performances in leagues all across. After Mumbai won the bidding war against Punjab Kings, it was up to Royal Challengers Bengaluru to use the Right to Match or not. Much to the joy of all the fans, the 2016 finalists chose not to. This team had Akash Ambai so excited that he walked to the RCB table to thank them.

2. Deepak Chahar – ₹9.25 crores

Deepak Chahar’s addition to the Mumbai Indians has strengthened their bowling attack even more. His ability to swing the ball and take early wickets in the powerplay makes him an ideal candidate to play at Wankhede. He can partner with Trent Boult to open the bowling, which allows Jasprit Bumrah to focus on the middle and death overs.

1. Trent Boult – ₹12.50 crores

This will be a great homecoming for Trent Boult after being let go by the franchise before the previous mega auction. Boult was a crucial part of the team that won the title in 2020. Along with Bumrah, he formed a lethal bowling attack for the Men in Blue and Gold. Now that he is back in the squad, he can be a big asset to the team and win them matches.
