PSL 2025: Top 3 bowlers to watch out for in Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators clash

Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings are set to play each other for the second time this season in PSL 2025. The Gladiators are currently second from bottom in the table but have played the fewest matches so far this campaign, with one win from three games. In the last meeting, Quetta were soundly thrashed by Karachi by 56 runs.

With playoff spots up for grabs, Quetta will want to forget their bad start to the season and needs to win. The bowlers will play a key role with the pitches starting to die down in the second half of the season. Karachi and Quetta know that scoring will get tougher as the bowlers will hold the key with PSL 2025 entering its busiest phase.

Here are the top 3 bowlers to watch out for in the Karachi vs Quetta Clash

3. Mohammad Amir

Mohammad Amir

Former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir picked up four wickets from three games so far this year. The 33-year-old still has the ability to swing the new ball and put the batters under pressure. Amir will be dangerous with the old ball during the final few overs with his brilliant Yorkers and slower balls. The 33-year-old, though, needs to work on his economy rate, having conceded 42 runs from his four overs last game.

2. Abbas Afridi

24-year-old medium pacer Abbas Afridi has been one of the top wicket takers in the PSL 2025 season. In the five matches so far this year, Afridi has picked eight wickets, with his best of 3/30 coming in the last game against the Zalmi side. Afridi doesn’t have much pace, but his smart bowling in the middle overs does put pressure on the opposition.

1. Hasan Ali

Hasan Ali

Pakistan’s veteran pacer Hasan Ali is the second-highest wicket-taker in PSL 2025 after Jason Holder with 10 scalps. Hasan Ali has been tremendous with the new ball and also done well in the death overs. The 30-year-old picked 3 for 27 in the last game against the Gladiators, which was a follow-up to his four-wicket haul against Lahore. Hasan Ali has been bowling with decent pace, and his skills with the old ball will come to the fore in the next few games for Karachi.
