Predicting West Indies’ Playing XI for their 2nd T20I against Ireland

The West Indies are set to resume their cricket series with Ireland after their recent short white-ball series against England. It was England who won the series with a 3-0 margin despite some amazing performances from the West Indian batters. The series against Ireland will give the former two-time T20 World Cup winners a chance to get ready for the massive World Cup next year.

The first game of the series was rained out without even the toss taking place. West Indies boasts of some huge names in the 20-over format who have the game to do wonders not just with the bat but also with the ball. With just two games left, the West Indians will hope to do well and take some positives from their tour of the UK before heading back home.

Here is the WI XI vs IRE

Hope will be looking to continue in the same vein of form against Ireland and win the series for his side. Sherfane Rutherford, who had batted well in the IPL 2025 season, saw his form desert him in the final games of the season. Rutherford scored just 9 runs in the previous three games. Shimron Hetmyer, on the other hand, has scored just 26 runs in the only T20I he has managed to play so far.
