The second half of the WBBL is underway and we still have some big matches to see this season. The match that is going to take place on the 15th of November is going to be another match to watch out for as the Perth Scorchers will want to repeat what they did in the first encounter against the Sydney Thunder. This will be another big encounter to look out for.
The Perth Scorchers might have faced a disappointing defeat against the Hurricanes but came back well in their encounter against the Thunder on their home ground. It will be another great opportunity for the Scorchers to beat them once again and this time they will do it at the MCG. It will be interesting to see what playing XI will they pick for the second encounter in Melbourne.
So, here is the predicted playing XI for their second match against the Thunder:
Top order: Beth Mooney(wk), Chloe Piparo, and Dayalan Hemalatha

The last match saw a bit of a change in the top order and it looks like the Scorchers will stick with Mooney and Piparo at the top. Though Piparo has not been in form, the Scorchers will continue to back her. Hemalatha played a great knock last match and it seems like they will keep her at number 3 and hope she keeps performing going forward as well and scores more runs.
Middle order: Sophie Devine(c), Amy Jones and Mikayla Hinkley

Unlike the last few games, the middle order performed with Jones and Hinkley playing some vital cameos, and skipper Sophie Devine played another big knock. They will want to continue their great form and make sure they keep winning games in the future. This was perhaps the best performance we have seen from the Scorchers middle order and they will want to keep the same consistency.
Lower middle order: Chloe Ainsworth and Amy Edgar

These two might have not contributed a lot with the bat but still made sure they came back in the second innings. Both Ainsworth and Edgar bowled great spells to contain the Thunder batting lineup. It is safe to say that they still lived up to their role and managed to make a difference in the match. Ainsworth was also the player of the match for her performance.
Tailenders: Alana King, Ebony Hoskin, and Lilly Mills

The bowlers did a great job in the last match and though the big performers were Ainsworth and Edgar, we cannot leave out the economic spells of King, Hoskin, and Mills who made sure their team was still in the game. These three bowlers still lived up to their standards and they will be looking to play a key role in the upcoming matches as well.
