The Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) will look to return to winning ways when they take on the Saint Lucia Kings in Match 17 of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026. The contest is scheduled to be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba on Thursday, August 27.

TKR, the defending champions, began their campaign with a rain-affected victory over the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots before suffering a five-wicket defeat against the Jamaica Kingsmen. They then faced another setback against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, who chased down 166 with five wickets in hand.

Nicholas Pooran’s side will therefore be eager to get back on track in front of their home supporters. Despite their recent defeats, TKR possess a formidable combination of experienced campaigners and exciting young talent.
