Pakistan could not end their long trophy drought in this edition of the Under-19 World Cup but their campaign was sprinkled with some impressive individual performances. Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals where they eventually got knocked out in a thrilling contest against Australia. Ubaid Shah

Ubaid Shah has undoubtedly been the most promising player for Pakistan in this tournament. The right-arm fast bowler emerged as a genuine wicket-taking option for the 2-time champions. Shahzaib Khan 

The 18-year-old left-handed Shahzaib Khan is also one of the top performers for Pakistan in this Under-19 World Cup. Not many batters could put up impressive performances but Shahzaib stood apart from others and established his authority with 264 runs to his name at an average of 52.80. He is the only one from Pakistan who scored runs with an average of more than 50. 

Ali Raza

Although it was largely a solo effort from Ubaid Shah in the bowling department, Ali Raza also left an impact. He surprised the opposition batters with his extra pace which is his X-factor. Raza has finished the tournament with 9 wickets in his account. The youngster only got to play 3 matches but he justified his selection whenever he was given an opportunity. His most important spell came in the most crucial encounter, the semi-final against Australia, which also highlights his ability to rise to the occasion.
