Mushfiqur was dismissed for seven in the second innings as Bangladesh were looking to extend their lead in quick time.

The hosts eventually declared at 224/6, setting the Chevrons an improbable target of 443 runs. Zimbabwe were bowled out for 224, as Mehidy Hasan Miraz took a five-wicket haul. Bangladesh won the match by 218 runs to level the series 1-1. Mushfiqur was deservingly named Player of the Match for his heroic knock in the first innings that played a key role in Bangladesh’s victory.
