MLC 2025: Predicting Washington Freedom’s playing XI vs LA Knight Riders

Washington Freedom began the MLC 2025 season with a loss to the San Francisco Unicorns. Since then, Washington has gone on to win their next four games, with their last game against Texas Super Kings witnessing Freedom chase down the 221-run target to win. Mitchell Owen and Andries Gous batted well to take the team home to a huge win.

Speaking after the game, skipper Glenn Maxwell said, “Very happy, anytime you chase 220, you’ve got to be happy. I think we didn’t bowl that well and couldn’t shut the short side down. Two guys going out there and doing the job is pretty pleasing. It’s your execution, and you see who the batter is, so it’s a mix and match. These are things we need to work on, I still feel we haven’t played the perfect game”

Here is the likely XI for Washington Freedom vs LAKR
