Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke is one of the most Bonafede stars in cricket. He made his Test debut in the most dramatic fashion versus India as he scored a ton in Bengaluru. In his very first Test match, Michael Clarke showed the amazing talent he had with the bat. Playing against the Indian side which had the likes of Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan, Anil Kumble, and Harbhajan Singh, the youngster scored 151 runs. The knock came off 248 balls with 18 fours and 4 sixes as he added 167 runs for the 6th wicket with Adam Gilchrist who also had scored a century.
2- 259* vs South Africa – Brisbane -2012

Centuries from Hashim Amla and Jacques Kallis saw South Africa score a massive 450 on the board. In reply, Australia were 30/3 at one stage but Ed Cowan and Michael Clarke then added 269 runs for the 4th wicket as Cowan was out for 136. Australian skipper Michael Clarke then went on to score an unbeaten 259 which came off 398 balls with 26 hits to the fence as the game ended in a draw.

Playing in front of his home crowd, Michael Clarke set the stage on fire during the New Year’s test. India had been bowled out for 191 in the first innings and then reduced the hosts to 37/3. This is when Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke came together and added 288 runs for the fourth wicket. This was followed by Clarke and Michael Hussey adding 334 runs for the 5th wicket as the Aussies took a huge lead. While Ponting and Hussey scored centuries, Clarke scored 329 not out from 468 balls with 39 fours and a six.
