This innings came against his former team and current rivals, the Lucknow Super Giants. Former Delhi Capitals captain Rishab Pant played against former Lucknow Supergiants Captain KL Rahul. It was more or less like a revenge for Rahul against his former team. The DC batter played a sensible innings by scoring 57 runs off 42 balls and helped DC win the game.
