IPL 2026 Match 25: KKR Predicted Playing XI vs GT

IPL 2026 Match 25: KKR Predicted Playing XI vs GT

The Match 25 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will see Gujarat Titans (GT) take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the massive Narendra Modi Stadium on April 17.

Gujarat Titans have had a mixed start to their campaign, currently sitting sixth on the points table with two wins from four matches. After losing their opening two games, they bounced back strongly with consecutive victories, regaining momentum at the right time. With confidence building within the squad, GT will aim to continue their winning streak and move further up the table.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders find themselves in a tough situation, sitting at the bottom of the table after four consecutive losses. The three-time champions are yet to find the right combination and consistency in both batting and bowling.

KKR Predicted Playing XI vs GT:

Top Order: Finn Allen, Sunil Narine, Ajinkya Rahane (C)

At the top, KKR are expected to go with Finn Allen, Sunil Narine, and Ajinkya Rahane. On paper, this looks like a dynamic trio, but performances haven’t matched expectations. Allen, despite his explosive reputation, has struggled to replicate his international T20 form consistently in the tournament.

Narine, promoted as an opener, has previously enjoyed success in that role, but his impact this season has been limited so far. Rahane, leading the side, has been relatively steady with the bat, though his strike rate remains a concern.

Middle Order: Cameron Green, Angkrish Raghuvanshi (WK), Rovman Powell, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh

The middle order features a mix of power hitters and young talent, including Cameron Green, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Rovman Powell, Rinku Singh, and Ramandeep Singh. While this lineup has the potential to dominate, it has largely underperformed.

Green, despite his hefty price tag, is yet to deliver a major innings. Raghuvanshi has been a bright spot, showing consistency and composure under pressure. Powell is still finding his rhythm after limited opportunities, while Rinku and Ramandeep have not been as effective in finishing games.

Bowlers: Anukul Roy, Varun Chakravarthy, Kartik Tyagi

In the bowling department, KKR rely on Anukul Roy, Varun Chakravarthy, and Kartik Tyagi. Anukul has been economical and sharp in the field, offering control in the middle overs.

Varun, however, has been expensive and is still searching for consistency with his variations. Tyagi has shown improvement, contributing with disciplined spells and helping contain opposition batters.
