IPL 2026 Auction: Final list of all player trades

The deadline to release the list of the players retained by 10 franchises for IPL 2026 was November 15. A total of 10 player trades took place, and these players will now represent new franchises in IPL 2026. All 10 teams have released the list of players retained before heading to the IPL 2026 Auction on Saturday.

The biggest trade took place between the two finalists of the inaugural season. Chennai Super Kings traded Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran for Sanju Samson. The Royals made another trade with the Delhi Capitals. The Mumbai Indians were involved in a total of three trades.

Here is the final list of all player trades:

1. Ravindra Jadeja (from CSK to RR)

After playing for CSK for 14 years, Ravindra Jadeja is back to the team from where his IPL career started. Jadeja will play for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026. He was a part of the squad that won the IPL 2008 under Shane Warne’s leadership.

2. Sam Curran (from CSK to RR)

After playing for CSK and Punjab Kings, Sam Curran will play for the Royals in 2026. He was traded by CSK, along with Jadeja. CSK had acquired Curran during the IPL 2025 auction for INR 2.4 crore. He played five matches for CSK and scored 114 runs at a strike rate of 135.71.

3. Sanju Samson (from RR to CSK)

After a lot of speculation, the Sanju Samson trade finally happened on November 15. Samson, who has been the captain of RR since 2021, has found a new home in CSK. Samson finished as the leading run-scorer for RR and the only batter who made over 4000 runs for the franchise.

4. Mohammed Shami (from SRH to LSG)

Mohammed Shami was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a price of INR 10 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. SRH fought a tough battle against the Kolkata Knight Riders, CSK, and Lucknow Super Giants. LSG had made a bid of INR 9.5 crore for Shami before SRH snapped him. LSG has finally secured Shami after striking a trade deal with SRH.

5. Mayank Markande (from KKR to MI)

Mayank Markande made his IPL debut in 2018 with the Mumbai Indians and took 15 wickets in 14 games. After the 2019 season, MI traded Mayank to the Delhi Capitals, and DC traded him to RR before the 2020 season began. In 2022 auction, Mayank was again picked by MI and he was released before the 2023 auction. In 2023, SRH picked Mayank and in 2025, KKR picked him. KKR has traded Mayank to MI for the upcoming season.

6. Arjun Tendulkar (from MI to LSG)

Arjun Tendulkar was a part of MI since 2021 but has managed to play just five games. This year, MI has traded Arjun to LSG for INR 30 lakh.

7. Nitish Rana (from RR to DC)

Nitish Rana was picked by RR in IPL 2025 auction for a price of INR 4.2 crore. In his debut season with RR, Nitish scored 217 runs in 11 games at a strike rate of 161.94. RR has traded Nitish to DC for the upcoming season of IPL.

8. Donovan Ferreira (from DC to RR)

Donovan Ferreira made his IPL debut with RR in 2024. He was picked by DC in 2025 auction. DC has traded Ferreira to RR for INR 1 crore.

9. Shardul Thakur (from LSG to MI)

Shardul Thakur was signed by LSG as a replacement player for the injured Mohsin Khan. He took 13 wickets in 10 games for the franchise at an average of 28.84. Shardul has been traded to MI by LSG for IPL 2026.

10. Sherfane Rutherford (from GT to MI)

Sherfane Rutherford played for the Gujarat Titans last season and scored 291 runs in 13 matches at an average of 32.33. GT has traded Rutherford to MI for INR 2.6 crore.
