The eighteenth edition of the Indian Premier League is going to get its first encounter between inaugural Champions Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore in match number 28 at Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. While Rajasthan Royals will be looking to carry on their winning momentum, Royal Challengers Bangalore will look to get back to winning ways after losing against Delhi Capitals on their home ground. Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have clashed against each other on 32 previous occasions. Royal Challengers Bangalore hold the bragging rights with 15 victories under their belt compared to Rajasthan’s 14, while three matches ended with no result. Rajasthan Royals emerged victorious in the last two encounters between the cross-country rivals. Although the pitch at this iconic venue is more batter-friendly, it will be down to the bowlers to concede the least runs and pick up wickets at regular intervals to help their side claim victory.
Here is the list of three bowlers to watch out for in the much-anticipated clash.
3. Suyash Sharma

The young right-arm leg spinner from Delhi has transitioned into the main spinner for his IPL franchise. He has bowled a total of 16 overs and conceded just 136 runs at a respectable economy rate of 8.5 runs an over. His ability to drift and spin the ball on either side will make him a threat against Rajasthan’s power hitters. He has picked up two wickets in the season so far.
2. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

The two-time Purple Cap winner is spearheading Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling attack this season. Bhuvaneshwar has had a decent start, scalping 5 wickets in 4 matches at an economy of less than 8 runs per over this season. His ability to swing and seam the ball on both sides will make him a threat for Rajasthan batters in the early phase of their innings.
1. Jofra Archer

The English pace sensation didn’t have the best of the starts this season. However, the Englishman has become a fierce threat to Rajasthan’s opponents ever since he got his line and length correct. Jofra has picked up 5 wickets in as many matches this season. His brutal pace, coupled with good line and length, is what makes him almost unplayable for batters. RCB batters need to be wary of the threat he brings to the table.
