IPL 2025: Predicting top 3 bowlers from GT vs LSG clash

With the IPL 2025 season heading to its business end, three teams have made it to the playoffs while five teams have been eliminated. Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has always been called a batters paradise and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top on Thursday.

3. Shardul Thakur

Veteran India star Shardul Thakur has picked 13 wickets from 10 games this season. Thakur began the season with 6 wickets in his first two games which includes his best of 4/34 that came against SRH in Hyderabad. The 33-year-old then lost his place to make way for Mayank Yadav who made a fleeting appearance before his injury concerns. Thakur got the wickets of Sherfane Rutherford and Rahul Tewatia in the last meeting between the two sides.

2. Mohammed Siraj

31-year-old seamer Mohammed Siraj has found a new lease of life since his move to the Titans. Siraj has picked 15 wickets from 12 games with a best of 4/17 that came against SRH earlier in the season. GT have benefited from Siraj’ early blitz with the new ball as well as his regained touch with the ball in the death overs. Siraj has also been bowling with good speeds and swinging the ball to make life tough for the opposition. 

1. Prasidh Krishna 

IPL 2025 season’s best bowler has been 29-year-old Prasidh Krishna who has made a terrific comeback. Krishna who has been plagued by injury issues in the past has picked 21 wickets this season and bowled with great speeds. The right-arm seamer has been phenomenal with the ball whenever he has been called upon by his skipper. Krishna will want to keep his form going in the game against LSG on Thursday and take it to the playoffs as well.
