The break of over a week might have just helped him to regroup to come as a batter version of himself.
The chinaman spinner has 12 wickets in 10 innings before the resumption of the 18th edition of the league. His average has been 21.91, with a strike rate of 19.50, and a great economy rate of 6.74. It’s not easy to hit Kuldeep for runs and he would find ways to take wickets even when the batters try to play him out.
Prasidh Krishna
Prasidh Krishna has been easily the best bowler to operate in the middle overs phase as a first change option for a team in the IPL 2025. The right-arm pacer has been a wicket taking option, and has operated in tough phases such as the end Powerplay and the death overs. He has been one of the best bowlers in the IPL 2025.
In 11 innings, Krishna has 20 wickets at a great average of 16.45, at a great strike rate of 12.90, at a good economy rate of 7.65. Before the resumption of the season, Prasidh had the joint most number of wickets along with CSK’s Noor Ahmad, and currently holds the purple cap. He is a key reason behind GT’s success at the top, so far.
Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj has been brilliant with the ball in the first few matches. While he hasn’t been as effective in the last few matches, Siraj has continued to be one of the best bowlers with the new ball. The impressive aspect about his bowling has been a massive increase in his average speed, from mid 130s to mid 140s.
Siraj has 15 wickets in 11 matches so far, at an average of 24.60, at a good strike rate of 16.40, at an economy rate of 9.00. While he has been slightly expensive in the last few games, Siraj has been someone who won matches on his own, on his day. His swing and seam with great pace at the top is hard to play.
