Royal Challengers Bengaluru will look to end their IPL 2025 league phase season on a high. Rajat Patidar and his side have already qualified for the playoffs after the Gujarat Titans’ win over Delhi Capitals on Sunday. RCB were set to take on Kolkata Knight Riders at home on Saturday, but the game was abandoned due to rain. The game against SRH on Friday was eventually moved to Lucknow, as announced on Tuesday by the BCCI.
RCB began the season with two successive away wins against KKR and Chennai Super Kings. While RCB’s away form was amazing, their home form saw them lose three games. That changed when Bengaluru beat Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs to earn their first win at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. With two games left for RCB, the aim will be to do well and consolidate their place in the top two spots of the points table.
Here is the likely RCB XI vs SRH
Top order

The English wicketkeeper and batter will soon be heading back home to play the white-ball series against the West Indies. Phil Salt will hope to continue his good form he showed with the bat before his injury. Virat Kohli, who has just retired from the Test format, will be looking to bat with freedom and enjoy the final few games of the season.
Middle Order

Veteran batter Mayank Agarwal has been drafted in as a replacement for Devdutt Padikkal who is on the injured list. It is a huge loss for RCB as Padikkal was in good form but it is a huge change for Mayank Agarwal to prove his worth once again. Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma have done well in the previous few games they have got to bat. Patidar in particular has done well against spinners and has been in decent form.
Lower-order

RCB’s lower order is power-packed with batsmen who can score huge runs in the back end of the innings. Liam Livingstone will be looking to get back into good form ahead of the huge English home season. Romario Shepherd scored 14-ball 53 in the last game against CSK before the season was suspended. Tim David has been a great signing for RCB this season and has scored runs with a good strike rate.
Tail-enders

Krunal Pandya will lengthen the batting order and also provide key overs with the ball. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal will have to do well with the new ball as Josh Hazlewood’s participation is still in doubt. Dayal, in particular, has been in good form with his death bowling as seen during the game against CSK.
