IPL 2025: Predicting MI’s playing XI for their clash against DC

Delhi Capitals will take on Mumbai Indians in the 29th match of the IPL 2025. It will be the first match of the season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. On April 13, Sunday, Delhi will host the evening game, which will be important for MI.

After losing to CSK and GT in their first two matches of the season, MI beat KKR at home to win their first match of the season. Things haven’t been great, as MI lost to LSG and RCB in their last two games. Against DC, they will have the challenge of facing the unbeaten team in the tournament.

The duo of batters will be looking to give the team a great start. Both departed for 17 runs each in the last game. Rohit has failed to make his impact so far but still has many chances to prove his worth in the shortest format of the game. The South African batter can smash many runs in this game.

Batters: Will Jacks, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma

Jack needs to step up in this game after departing for just 22 runs in the last game. Suryakumar Yadav seems to be one of the best batters from the side who can do most of the damage against the hosts in this game. Tilak has chipped in 56 off 29 balls, featuring four boundaries and four sixes in the last clash.

All-rounders: Hardik Pandya, Naman Dhir, Mitchell Santner

Deepak Chahar has not lived up to the expectations so far. The star seamer has a great chance to showcase his form in this game. Boult, the left-arm pacer, has been bowling well this time and can pose a big threat to the hosts. Jasprit Bumrah is the powerplay and death-over specialist in this game.
