Lucknow Super Giants will play their final game of the season at home against Royal Challengers Bengaluru to end the IPL 2025 league season. Rishabh Pant and his side at one point were in the race to make it to the playoffs having three games in a row. Despite having some players in prime form, LSG have failed to make it past the league phases.
The biggest problem for LSG has been Rishabh Pant’s own form with the bat this season. Mayank Yadav’s injury and the lack of form shown by Ravi Bishnoi with the ball has also been a huge concern. After their win over Gujarat Titans in their previous game, LSG will want to wrap up the season on a positive note.
Here is the likely SRH XI vs RCB
Top order

South African batter Aiden Markram will want to use this game as the perfect preparation for the upcoming WTC finals. With 445 runs from 11 matches, Markram has come up with the best IPL season so far. The 30-year-old has hit five fifties this season which is the best ever for Markram in the league. Veteran Australian batter Mitchell Marsh has scored 560 runs from 12 games and scored a century in the last match which was his first ever in the league.
Middle Order

West Indian star Nicholas Pooran has been the top six hitter in the IPL 2025 season. Pooran scored an unbeaten 58 off 27 balls in the previous game against the Titans. Skipper Rishabh Pant has one more game to turn his from around ahead of the huge tour of England. Ayush Badoni, has yet again been impressive and will be eyeing a spot in the Indian T20I side after the season.
Lower-order

Abdul Samad’s big-hitting skills were on display this season and the batter has managed to get some attention on his batting talents. Shahbaz Ahmed had a quiet first game but will want to bounce back in LSG’s final game of the season. Akash Deep, named in the squad for England’s tour has managed to pick just three 3 wickets from six games this campaign.
Tail enders

Indian seamer Avesh Khan has picked 12 wickets from 12 games this season. Avesh would have hoped for better performance but sadly didn’t do well and missed a chance to make it to the England tour. William O Rourke signed on as a late replacement has managed to do well so far in the few games. Akash Singh, has been impressive in the few games he has got this season.
