IPL 2025: Predicting KKR’s playing XI for their clash against SRH

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 15th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The game is scheduled for April 3, at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. 

KKR lost their first game of the season on their own home ground, so they will surely try to make up for that loss in the upcoming game. SRH, on the other hand, isn’t in its best form either, as it lost two back-to-back games in the tournament. So, this game will be extremely important for both teams.

Top Order:

The top order combination consists of Quinton de Kock, Sunil Narine, and Ajinkya Rahane. They gave some good starts in the tournament but failed collectively in the previous game. The top order is an important part of the team and that is why, they’ll have to play well in the upcoming game. They started their tournament well but failed to convert the momentum. Rahane looked more set in the previous game but couldn’t stop himself from throwing away his wicket. 

Middle Order:

Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh, and Andre Russell are the middle-order batters for KKR. They have failed majorly in almost all the games which is an important issue that should be addressed by the team. None of the batters have played a good knock in the last three games, making it impossible for KKR to post a good total on the board. 

Bowlers:

Ramandeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Spencer Johnson, and Varun Chakaravarty are the main bowlers. Chakaravarty is having a good time in the tournament but the others have struggled to pick up wickets at regular intervals. Henceforth, KKR have to improve as a team to win the game against SRH.
