IPL 2025: Predicting GT’s playing XI for their clash against DC

Gujarat Titans are all set to take on Delhi Capitals in the 35th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on the 19th of April. Both teams look in good touch this season and are among the top teams so far. They will now look for yet another win in this match.

GT are coming off a tough loss against Lucknow Super Giants in their last game and will be looking to bounce back to form. Here we look at their probable playing XI for the all-important clash against Delhi Capitals.

Top Order 

Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler  

Sai Sudharsan has been one of the most consistent batters this season. He has already scored four half-centuries this season and has adapted to different conditions beautifully. He will be the player to watch out for in this match. Along with him, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler have also looked brilliant with the bat. Together these three have formed a solid top order for the former champions. 

Middle Order

Sharfane Rutherford, Washington Sundar, Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia

Sharfane Rutherford is another player who has done well for GT this season. His power hitting has helped them get some good wins. Washington Sundar, meanwhile, has also looked decent in the few chances that he has got. However, Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia have not had many opportunities to prove themselves, thanks to excellence from their top-order batters. They will be eager to get a good performance.

Lower Order

Arshad Khan, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore and Mohammed Siraj

Sai Kishore and Mohammed Siraj have looked excellent this season. They have put batters under pressure and have taken wickets as well, with 10 to each of their names so far. Arshad Khan is also a strong addition to the team. Rashid Khan, meanwhile, had not looked in the best of forms, but he is starting to find his rhythm in the last couple of games.
