IPL 2025: Predicting DC’s playing XI for their clash against GT

Table-toppers Delhi Capitals (DC) will play their seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Gujarat Titans (GT), who are sitting at the second position in the points table. The contest will take place on Saturday, April 19 and will be hosted by Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

Middle Order and All-rounders – (KL Rahul, Tristan Stubbs, Ashutosh Sharma and Axar Patel) 

DC’s middle-order has emerged as one of the strongest middle-orders in the league. With the likes of KL Rahul, Tristan Stubbs, and Ashutosh Sharma, DC have won multiple matches with the help of their middle-order batters. The all-rounders who are likely to feature against GT will be skipper Axar Patel and Vipraj Nigam, who have contributed to the team with both bat and ball.

Bowlers – (Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohit Sharma) 

DC’s bowling attack has been their main weapon so far in the league. They have a balanced pace and spin bowling attack led by the Australian veteran pacer, Mitchell Starc. Kuldeep Yadav comes into the middle and provides crucial breakthroughs to the team while Mohit Sharma keeps the batter restricted from hitting boundaries.
