Mumbai Indians (MI) are taking on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in an afternoon game. Wankhede Stadium will host match no. 45 of the IPL. After an awful start to the season, five-time IPL winners MI know how to bounce back, as they are in their best form. With four back-to-back wins, MI is back in the top four. The teams hold the fourth spot ahead of the LSG game.
However, LSG remains unpredictable as they have dropped to sixth place with five wins and four defeats. MI are one step ahead of LSG due to their home advantage and current record.
1. Rishabh Pant’s batting position:

Rishabh Pant is yet to show his batting skills in the ongoing IPL. In nine games, he scored 106 runs, which shows he is struggling at to bat. One of the reasons for his struggle is his batting position. Since his debut, Rishab Pant has come to bat at the no. 4 position and scored 194 runs. In a few games, Pant changed his batting position, and he struggled to score runs. Rishab batted at the no.4 spot and scored 66 runs in the game against CSK. With a must-win game against MI, Pant needs to come in no.4 position to help LSG win the game.
2. Brining in Mayank Yadav:

Mayank Yadav is back with LSG after recovering from injury. In the last game against Delhi Capitals, he was on the impact list for LSG but did not get a chance to play in the game due to a sudden batting order collapse, which led to Ayush Badoni being the impact player for the team. Mayank Yadav can play an important role for LSG in the upcoming games as the team wants to finish in the top four spot.
3. A big performance from the middle order:
LSG relies on the top order to get big runs on the scoreboard. However, as the top-order is carrying the burden and the middle order seems to relax a bit which LSG have lost some games. As the playoff race is heated middle order needs to perform and help the team to win the remaining matches.
